Theater Room

As technology has drastically changed since this theater room was first constructed, it was time for an upgrade. A complete overhaul of the space was performed. The components for this theater room were originally accessed by a closet door under the stairs which made transitioning new equipment and maintenance quite difficult. Adams and Adams designed a sliding component rack under the stairs that creates easy access at the front as well as the back and then disappears into the stairwell. All original lighting was upgraded to LED, a new custom crown molding light bar was installed and new LED strip lights accent the custom cabinetry and stairs. All six existing speakers were replaced. Four new speakers were added in the ceiling along with three new sub woofers to round out the sound system. In addition to the custom woodwork, a custom couch was built to spec that automatically reclines, has USB hook ups and a tactile motion system to fully immerse you in your theater experience.
